2000 - 2016: I was born in Ningbo (宁波), China 🇨🇳, in the Year of the Dragon 🐉. I spent my childhood and early teen years in Ninghai (宁海), a small southern district of Ningbo. The city was characterized by peace, prosperity, wealth, and commerce, creating a comfortable but somewhat lacking in adventure atmosphere. It's a place where life is great, yet nothing unexpected ever seems to happen.

From a young age, I knew that I was destined to do something special and different from the majority of the people, though I had no idea what that would look like.

2016 - 2017: I moved to the US 🇺🇸 alone at the age of 15. Assigned to a small town located on the state line between Alabama & Mississippi, I became a survivor of the extreme racism of the deep south.

2017-2019: I relocated to California 🏝️, accomplishing my education milestones at Orange County Christian School (earning the honors of Valedictorian and Student Body President).

• During my time there, I proudly represented our high school in the Stock Market Game Competition alongside my friend Patrick Tong. Our efforts led to an impressive regional rank of 32 out of 1091 participants and a national ranking of 79 out of 2602.

• I contributed in any capacity possible to administer Yeshua's business, extending my assistance from consoling peers at school to actively participating in a missionary trip to our afflicted church in Tecate, Mexico. During the trip, I played a role in fostering relationships with the local minors and contributed to our adult education initiatives aimed at reducing teenage pregnancy in the region.

2019-2021 (While In College): I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey by founding my first startup with my good church buddy, Gilbert Garza, which eventually evolved into Gumdrop.ai.

• 🎉 Gumdrop was acquired in 2021! We scored our first exit. I made it into the Capital Factory Portfolio soon following the exit.

• I co-founded Codex Builders, one of the very first startup incubators for USF students. Our mission was to provide resources for USF students to transform their ideas from the drawing board to their first client. Through Codex Builders, we successfully incubated several projects, securing funding and support from the University of San Francisco and the Jesuit Foundation. Notably, we organized the USF Business School's first pitch competition.

• I ventured into consulting within the blockchain space and provided my expertise to Senator Rand Paul's campaign team, evaluating the viability of fundraising through blockchain technology.

• Additionally, I initiated a podcast titled 'Above The Jpeg,' engaging in discussions about the future of blockchain applications with some of the most influential figures in the field. (i.e Peter Saddington of Bitcoin Lambo, Jess of Seed Club)

2022: I graduated from University of San Francisco 🌉 School of Business and Management (graduating Cum Laude). There, I attained my bachelor's degree in business.

2023: I founded Digital Record to help education institutions to issue blockchain-backed credentials. Raised $200,000 in angel funding in the mid of the economic downturn. Collaborated with top researchers and policy makers such as Adj. Prof. Warwick Powell of Queensland Univeristy of Technology (QUT) and Smart Trade Network (STN), who served as an advisor for the Australian PM Kevin Rudd.
